Human Geography Culminating Activity
There are three possible activities for this unit's culminating activity. Your teacher will let you know which ones are available to be completed this semester.
- Discover Your Family’s Origins
- Research and build your own family’s history as far back as you can go, paying special attention to the location of people’s births or places where they lived. Use the detailed instructions and templates provided to help you organize your research.
- Confederation & Today
- Research and illustrate the human systems in Canada as they existed in 1867 and as they exist today. Use the templates and information sheets provided to help you organize your research.
- Be Prepared!
- Complete the Preparing for Natural Disasters activities described on pages 56 and 57 of Geography Now.
