Mapping & Physical Geography Culminating Activity
There are three possible activities for this unit's culminating activity. Your teacher will let you know which ones are available to be completed this semester.
- Comparing Ecozones
- Complete the activities described on pages 152 and 153 of Geography Now.
- A New National Park
- Follow the instructions in the booklet provided for a new national park, using the internet, library, or any other resources available to you. The booklet is also available here in Microsoft Word format in case you wish to complete it electronically.
- Provincial Profile
- In pairs (or groups of three if necessary) select a province of Canada and complete the PowerPoint template provided. Each province may only be done once, and Ontario has already been done as an exemplar by your teacher. You may use the library, almanacs, the internet, or any other resource available to you.
